Tayla is a qualified Credit Representative and Home Loan Specialist who joined the team at MPF in 2021. Tayla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business majoring in Finance and Marketing, along with a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Brokering and is also a member of the MFAA.

While Tayla specialises in all property finance her commercial experience gives her a unique edge in navigating complex loan scenarios including SMSF loans, commercial property purchases, and self-employed applicants, ensuring that she provides tailored solutions for a diverse range of clients.

What is your favourite thing about working at MPF Home Loans?

Without a doubt it would be the team. We get along way too well and our skills and experiences complement each other perfectly. We all share a common goal and will always be available to lend a hand where it is needed. The sense of humour of everyone in the team makes even the longest
days enjoyable.

Why do you recommend using a Finance Broker when applying for a loan?

Using a finance broker is like having a friend who is an expert holding your hand through the whole application process. We know what scenarios are suited to which bank and if a problem arises chances are we have encountered it before and know exactly how to solve it. We compare pricing and terms from numerous banks and present it to the client in an easy-to-understand comparison, so you know you are getting a great deal. The scary thing is that comparison between banks can often reveal significant differences in interest costs over the life of a loan. Using a reputable finance broker means you have someone you can trust in your corner ensuring you receive the best offerings from the lenders and then the best service throughout the application process.

What is your best piece of advice for first home buyers?

Be organised, patient and do your research. Be organised, talk to me to understand your borrowing capacity first so you can look for a property in your price range. Be patient, don’t rush into the first property you can afford, wait until you find the right property. Do your research, make sure you know the area you are purchasing in and do your due diligence on the property you are purchasing.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, you will find me hanging out with my husband and two children, Harper and Ryder. I like to tire them out (husband included) so you’ll usually find us at the park, the beach or adventuring to a waterfall.
